Saving your documents in the cloud has never been easier - with Dropbox you can sync your files across any platform and easily share with your colleagues. We are pleased to announce that we now offer an integration with Dropbox that allows you to send your merged documents directly to your Dropbox account!
It is pretty easy to get this setup for your documents too. As with our other integrations, you can go to the Delivery tab under your documents and create a new Delivery. Go ahead and click the New Delivery button and select Dropbox from the popup.
In order for us to be able to send documents to your Dropbox account, you will need to authorize our application to send files to your account. Dropbox uses OAuth to give 3rd party applications access to upload documents. What this means is that we’ll redirect you to Dropbox, you’ll login and grant access to the Formstack Documents Application, then you’ll be redirected back to setup your Notification.
Once you have been redirected back to the Notification setup, you will see a list of the folders in your Dropbox account. Once you’ve selected your folder, click Save Notification button.
Now all you have to do is run a quick test and make sure everything is working correctly. Run a test merge (use the URL from the Merge tab) and then check your Dropbox account. You should see the document in the folder that you selected. The name of the document will be the same as what you defined in the document settings (the filename you see in the email attachment as well).
