  • It takes too long to get to the Salesforce aspect (over 5 minutes) and then barely brushes on how it works. More sales than functional "how to".

  • Hi Anne,

Yes, this video is more of a quick sales demo than a how-to. Here are some blog posts that may go into more detail for you:

  • Hi Jeremy,

Is there a way to preview document without actually downloading it?

    Thanks,
    Uma

  • Hi Uma,

Yes, under your Mapping settings, there's a checkbox to "Allow Users to Preview Document". Please check that option. If you don't see the option, please update your package to our most recent version on the AppExchange.

    Thanks!

  • Hi, how do I merge Opportunity Owner field into my PowerPoint document? I was able to successfully merge all other fields but Opportunity Owner field. Thank you!

  • Hi Joy,

In your document, you'll use merge fields like {$Owner.Name} and {$Owner.Email} then in your WebMerge Mapping, you'll see "Owner" listed as a merge field, then you'll pick "Owner: (Full Object)" from the dropdown of Salesforce fields.

    Thanks!

  • Hi Vamsi,

If you only have 1 mapping setup for that object, we automatically pick that mapping and merge the document right away. Please check the Overview tab of your document in WebMerge to see if the document is being generated successfully.

    Thanks!

  • @jeremy

Is it possible to map related object and loop through the records? for example, if an account object has 4 other related objects and one of them may have 3 records, can I loop through the records to fill a pdf (given the pdf has all the required fields)
